And although some recipes contain grains, they are formulated to be 100% complete and balanced nutrition for your dog. Some dogs may do better on a grain-free diet though to help with certain food sensitivities. Please speak with your veterinarian if you have questions about the best type of diet to feed your dog.

  • Why does Peak contain chicken meal and turkey meal? I thought ‘meal' was bad for a dog.
Chicken meal and turkey meal are super-concentrated animal proteins, and not the same as poultry by-product meal which can contain undesirable parts of the animal like intestines and feet. None of our Nutrish recipes contain poultry by-product meal.
  • What are chelated minerals?
Chelated minerals are easier for your dog to absorb than regular minerals and are typically found in higher-quality dog foods.
  • How do I switch my dog from his regular food to Nutrish Peak?
Slowly mix Peak with his other food over a five to ten day period until your dog is solely eating Peak. Once your dog is only eating Peak, keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are a guide. Your dog's individual needs will vary based upon his size, his activity level and even his age.
