Product FAQS

Common Questions

Is Rachael Ray® Nutrish® Bright Puppy only for puppies?

While Rachael Ray® Nutrish® Bright Puppy dry dog food was designed to meet the nutritional needs of puppies, it can be fed to dogs of all ages. It is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) Dog Food Nutrient profiles for all life stages including growth of large size dogs (70 lbs. or more as an adult).

What makes Rachael Ray® Nutrish® Bright Puppy special for puppies?

Rachael Ray® Nutrish® Bright Puppy is specially formulated for puppies because they grow and develop rapidly. Our properly balanced puppy food has nutrients to support quick body development such as higher protein levels versus other Rachael Ray® Nutrish® dry dog foods, the right balance of vitamins and minerals, higher fat content for energy and omega 3 Fatty Acids (DHA) to help support brain development and healthy vision. Also, the smaller-sized kibble is easier for smaller mouths to chew and swallow. There is never any poultry by-product meal, artificial flavors, colors or artificial preservatives.

How much food should I feed my puppy?

How much you feed your puppy depends on many factors. Please refer to the feeding guidelines, but keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are just a guide. Your puppy's individual needs will vary based upon their size, activity level and even age. However be sure not to overfeed your puppy because overfeeding is a common source of digestive issues. Be sure to check your puppy's weight and adjust feeding levels to maintain a healthy weight. And, don't forget to see your vet regularly.
