*Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup. This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your cat's activity level and overall fitness.

Feeding Amounts: Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet. Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. The total daily amount for kittens is approximately one-quarter to one and one quarter cups. For lactating females, feed up to three times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.

Be sure to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container daily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My furbabies LOVE it! I purchased this during a fundraiser at my local Schnucks. I was hoping to find a dry food that my babies would eat, keep down and most of all, not be full of fillers. This is it! They have had less hairballs and seemed more content since eating this product. Would definitely recommend this to all cat owners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Preferred by the Pickiest We got this for our 3 cats to try and were amazed by how much they like it. We have one cat that is a very picky lump of fur and she even came running for it. They act like they are getting treats, not just cat food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gave My Cat Diarrhea Bought this food a week ago from WalMart. When my cat's other food ran out I started giving him the Zero Grain Chicken and Potato dry food. He liked it but I noticed the next day he had diarrhea. I gave it to him a total of 2 days during which the diarrhea continued. On the 3rd day he refused to eat it and I switched to another food. His symptoms began clearing up the day after. In the past he has eaten Rachel Ray Nutrish Chicken and Rice dry food (not the zero grain) and the wet food with no complications. I would like to add that I have given my cat quite a few types of food over the years and he has never had a reaction like this before. He does not have what some would describe as a sensitive tummy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ONLY Cat Food I'll Use. My cat means a lot to me and nothing means more than his well-being and happiness. Just like people, you can absolutely tell when your furry loved ones are upset or ill in some way and the only problem I've ever had was finding a food that did not have corn, wheat, or soy. Not to mention toxic preservatives, fillers, and artificial additives for flavor or color. (Let's just say I've done a lot of homework...) I've found many, many DVM articles on common food allergies and health problems that come from unnatural chemicals. In short, I began reading up on numerous brands of cat food and read every list of ingredients I could find. Don't let those 'natural' food brands fool you. They're just like the others. Only difference is their bags are brown and not bright, eye-catching colors. I began this search when my cat completely rejected the previous brand I tried. I felt terrible. Especially because of all the information I'd gathered on what NOT to give your cat. So I turned to Rachael Ray's Zero Grain food for cats and was impressed by the change that happened over the next week. My cats vitality returned; his playfulness, his energy, even his affection! I noticed that one 3LB bag of Rachael Ray's has lasted him just about two weeks whereas he would eat through a bag twice the size with any other brand. (And yeah, I tried some for myself and even I could taste a difference). So long story short, I feel that if you're not buying Rachael Ray's cat food and really taking care of your feline family member(s), you're not doing anything right. Best part of it all? He no longer rejects his food, he doesn't have allergies, and the cat food DOESN'T contain grain, corn, or any other of the junk that can really harm your pet over time. I will never go back to any other brand.
