Senior Care for Your Furry Feline

Older cats may not drink enough water, which can lead to cat dehydration. If this is a problem, try adding just a drop of sardine juice or no-sodium chicken broth to the water. Elderly felines are also less able to retract their claws and self-groom, so trim nails regularly and check their furry bodies for lumps, bumps or sores. Wipe around eyes, ears and nose and consider special supplements if hairballs become a problem. Always check with your vet for the best options to keep your fur baby healthy and happy.
