Gemini Dog (May 21-June 20): One for the Road
Gemini dogs are excellent companions for owners who enjoy a lot of outdoor activity. Ruled by Mercury, they are intelligent and excitable and require a big yard to race around in or long walks to burn off nervous energy. They also have a very low boredom point and need constant changes of scenery, toys, activities and food types. The more exotic the better—they are food adventurists.
These explorers like nothing better than going on vacation and are remarkably good travelers. Gemini dogs are in a state of bliss riding in the car, nose pressed to the window crack enjoying new smells. These are some of the most charming and friendliest dogs of the zodiac and are always a hit at the dog park. Besides getting along with other canines they tend to have a strange fondness for the household cat. While they don't like to be alone, they are rarely a one-person dog and therefore make a good family pet.
Hang on Snoopy
Relentlessly curious Gemini dogs are always sticking their highly developed noses into everything. They make particularly good tracking dogs, more so because Gemini dogs are such quick learners, willing to follow human commands, unlike some of their canine brethren. They thrive with Gemini or Libra owners because they share that noncommittal, always-on-the-move sensibility. They can also get along with an Aquarian pet parent, but these natives might just be too inconsistent to their liking.
