Cat: Ginger

If she's copper, auburn, chestnut-red, orange or golden, she's a Ginger! The name springs from Latin origins, meaning "flourishing" or "pungent spice," most notably ginger root. Zesty and spicy in cooking, and hot and sweet when candied, Ginger certainly kicks things up a notch with her bold and vibrant temperament.

Emanating warmth and happiness, with richly colored fur, these sultry felines can be a bit self-absorbed and sometimes prefer single-cat households but, nonetheless, are as loveable as can be. Ginger complements the feisty Calico, the energetic Abyssian or the perky American Curl.
